11. Who we are

The CronCar platform, available at croncar.com (the “Platform”), is operated by to be completed, with its registered office at to be completed, registered with the Trade Register under no. to be completed, tax ID to be completed (“CronCar”, “we”). You can contact us at contact@croncar.com.

22. Accepting these terms

By creating an account or using the Platform, you accept these Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”). If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Platform. How we process your personal data is described separately in our Privacy Policy.

33. What CronCar offers

CronCar is a space dedicated to cars, where you can:

• build a virtual garage with technical details, photos and the history of each car;
• publish posts about servicing, modifications, builds, events, road trips and cars spotted on the street;
• follow other users and take part in communities dedicated to each model;
• receive reminders before your RCA insurance, ITP inspection, road vignette or other deadlines expire;
• publish and browse sale listings in the Marketplace;
• create a business profile (garage, dealer, detailing and so on).

The services are currently free. If we introduce paid services, we will describe them separately and ask for your explicit agreement before any payment.

44. Your account

4.1. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You must be at least 18 to publish Marketplace listings.

4.2. You can create an account with your email address and a password, or with your Google account. The information you provide must be accurate and up to date.

4.3. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything done from your account. Tell us immediately at contact@croncar.com if you suspect unauthorised use.

4.4. You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion is permanent and covers your data, photos and files, with the exceptions described in the Privacy Policy (for example, a car already transferred to another owner stays in their garage).

55. Content you publish

5.1. You keep ownership of the content you upload (text, photos, video, documents). You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, store, reproduce, resize and display that content, solely to operate and promote the Platform. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for temporary backup copies and content other users have already shared.

5.2. You confirm that you have the right to publish the content you upload and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights (copyright, image rights, privacy).

5.3. You may not publish content that:

• is illegal, fraudulent, misleading, defamatory, threatening, racist, or incites hatred or violence;
• contains other people's personal data without their consent — for example third parties' licence plates, faces or phone numbers, especially in “spot” posts;
• promotes dangerous driving, illegal racing on public roads or evading roadworthiness inspections;
• infringes intellectual property rights;
• is spam or unsolicited advertising, or contains malicious software.

5.4. The invoices and history reports you upload are private and visible only to you, unless you choose to share them in a listing. Please hide other people's personal data before uploading.

5.5. We recommend checking photos and videos before publishing: they may contain metadata such as GPS location.

66. Marketplace

6.1. CronCar only provides the space where sellers publish their listings. We are not a party to the sale contract between buyer and seller, we do not inspect cars, we do not guarantee that listings are accurate and we do not handle payments.

6.2. The seller alone is responsible for the accuracy of the listing (price, mileage, history, condition) and for complying with the law, including tax obligations. Professional sellers (companies) must identify themselves as such and comply with consumer protection law.

6.3. The phone number in a listing is shown to any visitor who taps “Show phone”. Using these numbers for anything other than the listing (for example, marketing) is forbidden.

6.4. Active listings expire automatically after 30 days and can be reactivated by the seller. We may remove listings that breach these Terms.

6.5. Safety tips: see the car before paying, check the documents and the VIN, do not pay deposits without guarantees and avoid payment methods that cannot be traced.

77. RCA, ITP and vignette reminders

Reminders are a convenience service based solely on the dates you enter. We do not check the validity of your documents against official databases. You remain responsible for renewing your insurance, roadworthiness inspection and road vignette on time. CronCar is not liable for fines or other consequences of a reminder that was not sent, was late, or was calculated from incorrect data.

88. Vehicle technical data

The technical specifications shown come from a catalogue compiled from public sources and may contain errors. They are for information only and do not replace the vehicle's official documents.

99. Business profiles

Whoever creates a business profile confirms they are entitled to represent that business. The profile owner is responsible for the members they add and for the content published on the business's behalf.

1010. Reporting content and moderation

10.1. You can report any listing or content you believe is illegal or breaches these Terms, using the “Report” button or by writing to contact@croncar.com. Please include the link, the reason and, where relevant, your contact details.

10.2. We review reports diligently and without undue delay. We may remove content, restrict its visibility, or suspend or close accounts. When we take such a decision, we tell you the reason and how to challenge it, as required by Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 on digital services. You can challenge a decision by writing to us within 6 months.

10.3. Our single point of contact for authorities and users under Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 is contact@croncar.com. We communicate in Romanian and English.

1111. Intellectual property

The CronCar name, logo, design and code belong to us. Car manufacturers' trademarks and logos belong to their owners and are used only to identify vehicles. Automated data extraction (scraping) is forbidden without our written consent.

1212. Liability

12.1. The Platform is provided “as is”. We make reasonable efforts to keep it running continuously and securely, but we do not guarantee it will be free of interruptions or errors.

12.2. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for content published by users, for transactions between them or for indirect losses. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

1313. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaches these Terms, and we will tell you why. You can stop using the Platform at any time by deleting your account.

1414. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will notify you by email or in the app at least 15 days before significant changes take effect. If you do not agree, you can delete your account before that date.

1515. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Romanian law. We try to resolve any complaint amicably at contact@croncar.com. Consumers can contact the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) and alternative dispute resolution bodies through reclamatiisal.anpc.ro. Disputes not resolved amicably fall under the jurisdiction of the Romanian courts; consumers may also bring a claim before the court of their place of residence.

1616. Language

These Terms are available in Romanian and English. If the two versions differ, the Romanian version prevails.
